100% USA Made Leather Strop. Smooth, full grain leather on both sides.

While the rest of my strops are made with roughout leather this one is smooth leather for those who prefer that and use paste or liquid compounds.

A strop will not sharpen a dull or damaged blade, it is the final part of the sharpening process. You will find that with a strop your knife gets a little sharper, stays that way longer and easier to maintain.

If you keep up with a strop and give edges a few swipes before it gets completely dull you will avoid complete re-sharpening.

Strop is approximately 16 ¼ long and 2 ¾ wide with a 2 3/4” wide by 10 ¼” long stropping surface. Oak hardwood construction. Smooth surface European cowhide leather on both sides.

All strops come with instructions in a box suitable for gift giving. A plain brown outer wrap protects the gift box from labels and damage. Remove the outer wrap, stick a bow on it and you are done!
